Hawaii Information Service is a progressive member
services company providing on-line access to real property data via proprietary software. We
are seeking qualified candidates for the following: CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT position. A full-time position that work from
Monday-Friday and this position is available effective June 16, 2008.
Introduction
This position provides customer and technical support services for our MLS and
integrated public records and Maps system, related products and services over
the telephone to customers of HIS, which are mostly Real Estate Professional and
appraisers. The position valued highly on communication and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of HI real estate practices preferred. Successful applicant will be a
team player who can contribute to our excellence in customer service.

Job Descriptions
- Provides customer & technical support over
the telephone to our customers who are mostly Real Estate Professionals
and Appraisers
- Issues include: Login Problems and WebREsearch database search calls, Communication, ISP, DSL and Email setup calls
- Prepare task documentation, provide WebREsearch
training, log customer calls, create and edit training materials and
WebREsearch user manuals
- WebREsearch testing
- Maintains and updates GIS and Tax Maps
- Provide technical support to HIS staff
Minimum Requirements for Customer Service Support
- Available to work full time
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Strong in troubleshooting, customer service,
and help desk skills
- Worked with various Windows operating systems
(Window 95, 98, ME, XP and Windows 2000)
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Office and the
Internet
- Hard working, friendly, able to multitask, and
have a lot patience
- A minimum of one to two years of working
experiences in customer service or help desk fields
- Competencies in critical thinking skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills
